John Baptizes Jesus

Luke 3:21-22 & Matthew 3

“I want to please God,” some people said.

John baptized them in the Jordan River.

Others watched John baptize them. They knew now that these people wanted to please God.

“Baptize Me,” Jesus said to John one day. “I will please God too.”

When John did that, God spoke.

“This is My Son!” God said. “He really does please Me.”
